From Customers posting a job:

• Name, phone number, email address
• Property address or suburb/region
• Job description, category, and any photos you provide
• Payment details (processed directly by Stripe — we do not store your card details)

From Tradespeople registering:

• Business/trade name, contact name, phone number, email address
• Trade category/categories and service area(s)
• Experience, qualifications, and any registration/licence numbers you provide
• Hourly rate
• Payment details (processed directly by Stripe — we do not store your card details)

Automatically collected:

• Basic website usage data (e.g. via analytics tools), such as pages visited and general location/device information

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Publish and manage your job listing or trade profile on the Platform
• Match relevant job listings with relevant Tradespeople (e.g. by trade and region)
• Process payments via Stripe
• Respond to enquiries and provide support
• Improve the Platform and understand how it's used
• Meet our legal and regulatory obligations

3. What we show publicly vs. keep private

On our public “Trades” and “Jobs” pages, we display limited, non-personal information only: trade category, region, and date registered/posted. We do not publish names, contact details, addresses, or job descriptions on these public pages.

Full contact and job details are only shared with the relevant matched party (i.e. a Tradesperson relevant to a specific job, or a Customer whose job a Tradesperson has registered to view) as part of facilitating an introduction.

4. Who we share information with

We share information with:

• Stripe, to process payments securely (Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data)
• Relevant Tradespeople or Customers, as needed to facilitate an introduction for a specific job (see Section 3)
• Service providers who help us run the Platform (e.g. hosting, email, CRM/automation tools), under confidentiality obligations
• Authorities, where required by law

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. How we store and protect your information

Your information is stored securely using our website hosting provider and CRM/automation tools. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However, no online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of any inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it (e.g. financial records)
